Just imagine standing in a presidential estate with pristine golfing greens, the dry southern heat against your skin, flowing reds as far as the eye can see, and the sounds of exotic engines purring. This, friends, is the 31st Annual Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza – the premier event to celebrate 75 years of Ferrari excellence. This year, The Medford Guy team was fortunate enough to be invited to attend both the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic track day and the main event at Mar-a-Lago to give the world’s first public debut of the TITAN™ - Medford OAK Collection. What an extraordinary event for the first public appearance of the world’s most luxurious Medford knife!
On day one, or track day, the excitement in the air was palpable. This exclusive track event was filled with only a select few vendors, the most elite Cavallino Classic members, and a concourse full of the most incredible Ferraris on the planet. Performance engines roared across the track as these exotic cars weaved in and out of the turns, lifting your senses to another level of enlightenment. The sound of screeching tires filled the air, screaming as they broke traction while car owners pushed their Ferraris to the max on the course. This was an experience like no other - truly one of the most prestigious and incredible events The Medford Guy has been a part of to date.
In the outdoor lounge space, we had a section filled with the best of the best everyday carry gear from The Medford Guy available. On full display were Knuckle Hammers and Knuckle Hatchets from the ‘On-The-Roam’ collection – a collaboration between Nash Motorcycles and Jason Momoa. Also on display were our newly released Sound Art, which blends artwork and a new wireless audio technology for a truly immersed surround sound experience at home. Found sitting front and center of our vendor display was the most incredible batch of custom curated Medford Knives produced to date, with the showstopper: The TITAN™ - Medford OAK Collection. The feedback on the Medford TITAN™ at this event was huge as these elite car aficionados welcomed the knife as a truly unique experience unlike any investment-grade knife they have ever seen before.
This same excitement from track day and the first public showing of the Medford TITAN™ carried over into the main event: Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza. This prestigious event took place at the well-known luxurious resort and national historic landmark: Mar-A-Lago. Commonly dubbed ‘the crown jewel’ of Palm Beach, Mar-A-Lago hosted 26 acres of pristine green landscape filled with a unique celebration of the most beautiful Ferrari automobiles produced. As far as the eye could see, there was one Ferrari from each of the last 75-years on display, exhibiting true performance craftsmanship from most revered sports car marque in the world. Our table was strategically positioned closer to the rear entrance of the building overlooking the main event where we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the man himself, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump!
Both days of the Concorso d’Elaganza were spectacular with the most popular pieces at our table being the Medford TITAN™, and “The Timepiece” a Medford UDT inspired by skeletonized watches expertly crafted by Dan Tananbaum. We were thrilled to be invited to such an exclusive event filled with world-class cars and people alike.
